The primary goal of Dr. A. D. Shinde Institute of Technology is to provide capable manpower to the industry at the supervisory level. Our Training and Placement Cell is actively involved in coordination with all the departments to build the necessary capabilities in our students under the guidance of the principal

Training and Placement Cell is organizing expert lectures on various technical topics from industry experts to make our students aware of the latest technologies, trends, processes and work culture. To give them more practical insights. Training and Placement Cell is taking the initiative to organize industrial visits. In order to boost their core technical skills, the Training and Placement Cell is organizing technical quiz, mock interviews, etc. The Training and Placement Cell has initiated programs to enhance the soft skills, the special soft skill training sessions, seminars, and workshops are also organized.

Training and Placement Cell is not only organizing these various activities but also tracking students’ performance at each stage. After every semester guidance is given to the students so that they can take the suggested corrective actions, increase performance and enhance the opportunities in front of them. In short apart from placement, Training and Placement Cell, in coordination with all the departments in our institute, is organizing a lot of activities to make students eligible for placement and to make them employable. As far as placement is concerned various prestigious companies visiting our campus regularly to conduct campus interviews. We have a very good placement record. Our students are working in reputed industries.

Training and Placement Cell is taking enormous efforts in approaching various industries from diverse sectors and interacting with industry-officials continually. And discussing with the various important aspects such as student’s industrial visits, expert lectures, sponsoring of projects, vocational training, apart from inviting them for campus placement drives. In short Training and Placement cell is playing a vital role in bridging the gap between industry and the institution.

Objectives of Training and Placement Cell

• To provide career guidance about avenues open after Diploma. i.e., Higher education, placements and entrepreneurship.

• To provide recruitment opportunities to students.

• To provide exposure to Diploma pursuing students.

• To Facilitate and coordinate career development programs.

• Managing Recruiters correspondence.

• Organizing Pre-Placement activities like group discussion and mock interviews.

• Planning and organizing various Placement drives on campus.
